Arianna "Ari" Trette is seventeen years old and is from San Diego, California. She has been doing theatre in the North County area since she was five. She is a senior at San Dieguito High School Academy. Ari has worked primarily with North Coast Repertory Theatre Company, and Trinity Theatre Company.
Some of Ari's favorite roles include Peter Pan in Peter Pan (Write Out Loud-Twainfest), Casca in Julius Caesar (North Coast Rep) and Sir Andrew in Twelfth Night (North Coast Rep). While Ari spends most of her time onstage, she also has worked as a stage manager, scenic charge artist, and recently sound designed her first show. She has stage managed several shows for Trinity Theatre Company, her favorites including Into The Woods Jr., Once Upon a Mattress, and Mean Girls Jr.. Ari has been the scenic charge artist for two productions, Clue: High School Edition and Lost Girl. She was the sound designer for SDA's production of Emma.
This past summer, Ari attended the La Jolla Playhouse Young Performers Conservatory. In this five week intensive program, Ari studied Checkov, Viewpoints, Spoken Word & Poetry, Intimacy & Stage Combat, Classical Text, and Improv & Sketch Comedy. She is now a LJP Teen Council member.
In addition to theatre, Ari has been doing public speaking since she was eleven years old. She participated in TEDx Youth Encinitas in 2017. She has spoken at Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN) twice, and was chosen to speak at the United Nations General Assembly in 2019. Ari has spoken at various other events including protests, services, and children's education. She hopes to continue pursuing public speaking as she gets older.
In her free time, Ari spends her time doing art, thrifting, and listening to music. Some of Ari's favorite music artists are Phoebe Bridgers, Boygenius, and Taylor Swift. Ari plans to pursue a degree in theatre once she graduates high school.
